Different cultures
The students are very engaged, and they organized festival to commemorate some holidays, like the Chinese New Year. It was a very nice way to know about Asian culture and get to experience a lot of kinds of Chinese games and traditions.
In addition, there was an Italian Carnival at the cafeteria, on what the traditional foods and musics was really special because I could remember my family (that has an Italian descendence).
In my opinion, this kind of events bring the culture even closer and the students fell more comfortable because it can bring a sense of community.

This is something really cool about this University, that I did not see in the University I attended. So many things to do!
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful! I also can see it all here! Glad for being here sharing these experiences.
ReplyDeleteTelma your blog is really a good way to know more about the Texas University. I love it.
