One of the most interesting things in UT is the opportunity to live and share ideas with people from other countries and cities. To begin with the kind of foods in the meals to the ways of thinking. For example, most of the people from Brazil drink a cup of coffee and eat a slice of bread in the breakfast. It's not common to eat pizzas or tortillas. The students are very engaged, and they organized festival to commemorate some holidays, like the Chinese New Year. It was a very nice way to know about Asian culture and get to experience a lot of kinds of Chinese games and traditions. In addition, there was an Italian Carnival at the cafeteria, on what the traditional foods and musics was really special because I could remember my family (that has an Italian descendence). In my opinion, this kind of events bring the culture even closer and the students fell more comfortable because it can bring a sense of community.
